The <strong>SSL\/TLS <\/strong>interface in cPanel can be used to manage the certificates. The following article applies to both <a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/shared-hosting.php\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/shared-hosting.php\">Shared Business Hosting<\/a> and Reseller clients.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is AutoSSL?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On our <strong>VPS<\/strong> and <strong>Dedicated server<\/strong> options, AutoSSL is a function available in WHM. It generates and installs free SSL certificates for specified websites hosted in the associated WHM.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can use WHM to enable AutoSSL for your websites if you have a User-responsible or <a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/shared-hosting.php\">Basic hosting plan<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you&#8217;re on a Complete hosting plan and don&#8217;t want to go through the effort of enabling AutoSSL on your own, you may file a ticket to the &#8220;<strong>Hosting &#8211; VPS and Dedicated Servers<\/strong>&#8221; department here, and our experts will help you out.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AutoSSL Overview<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the construction of WHM, the AutoSSL functionality can be added to the &#8220;<strong>Feature list<\/strong>.&#8221; The Feature list is a list of features that will be added to the cPanel of the user. If AutoSSL was not initially included, it is possible to add it later by editing a &#8220;Feature list.&#8221; A guide on managing features in WHM may be found here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The &#8220;<strong>Administer AutoSSL<\/strong>&#8221; page in WHM&#8217;s SSL\/TLS section can be used to manage the AutoSSL feature once it has been added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the &#8220;<strong>Manage AutoSSL<\/strong>&#8221; page, there are various tabs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_1-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_1-1-1024x471.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957526\" width=\"768\" height=\"353\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Providers&nbsp; <\/strong>&#8211; displays SSL certificate providers as well as their star ratings. By choosing the &#8220;<strong>Show\/Hide Details<\/strong>&#8221; button, you can learn more about each SSL provider. Choose your favourite SSL provider and click &#8220;<strong>Save<\/strong>&#8221; to utilize an SSL certificate issued by that service.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Options <\/strong>&#8211; AutoSSL notifications management. Here you can enable or disable AutoSSL notifications for users or administrators regarding the warnings, successful or failed AutoSSL installation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note, if you enable the &#8220;Allow AutoSSL to replace invalid or expiring non-AutoSSL certificates&#8221; option, the AutoSSL certificate will replace any expired, due to expire, or invalid non-AutoSSL certificate already set up for the selected <a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/domains.php\">domain<\/a> or subdomain. If you would like to have some domains with AutoSSL certificate and some domains without it, please make sure this option is disabled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_2-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_2-1.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957528\" width=\"679\" height=\"452\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Logs <\/strong>&#8211; here you can review the system\u2019s AutoSSL log files. You can get more information about a specific log by selecting it from the list and clicking the &#8220;<strong>View Log<\/strong>&#8221; button.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Manage Users<\/strong> &#8211; here you can manage the AutoSSL settings for every cPanel account: enabling, disabling, or resetting an AutoSSL certificate. To check a domain for a specific user, you can click the &#8220;<strong>Check<\/strong>&#8221; button.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Pending Queue<\/strong> &#8211; shows a list of the SSL certificates that have been activated but not installed.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-enable-autossl-in-whm\">How to enable AutoSSL in WHM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Follow the instructions below to enable the AutoSSL functionality for certain websites:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the &#8220;<strong>SSL\/TLS<\/strong>&#8221; section of the WHM panel and select &#8220;<strong>Manage AutoSSL<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/li><li>To activate SSL certificates for all domains and subdomains in this WHM panel and accompanying cPanel accounts, click the &#8220;<strong>Run AutoSSL For All Users<\/strong>&#8221; button.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_3-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_3-1-1024x461.png\" alt=\"Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957536\" width=\"768\" height=\"346\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_4-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_4-1-1024x468.png\" alt=\"cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957537\" width=\"768\" height=\"351\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>You may also turn on AutoSSL for a group of users. To choose certain users, simply tick their names in the list. Then, above the user list, use the buttons to activate, disable, or reset to default settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_5-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_5-1-1024x474.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL\" class=\"wp-image-999957539\" width=\"768\" height=\"356\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>If there are problems with the AutoSSL configuration, go to the &#8220;<strong>Logs<\/strong>&#8221; tab and choose the individual log, then click &#8220;<strong>view log<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_6-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_6-1.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957541\" width=\"683\" height=\"372\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-manage-autossl-certificate-in-cpanel\">How to manage AutoSSL certificate in cPanel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The SSL certificate will be deployed in cPanel automatically if the WHM option &#8220;Allow AutoSSL to replace invalid or expiring non-AutoSSL certificates&#8221; is activated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If this option is deactivated, you must manually install the additional SSL certificate by following the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In cPanel, go to the &#8220;<strong>SSL\/TLS Status<\/strong>&#8221; area.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_7-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_7-1-1024x202.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL\" class=\"wp-image-999957542\" width=\"768\" height=\"152\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>There you will see a list of all the domains and subdomains in cPanel along with their SSL certificates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If an SSL certificate was not installed for any of the required domains, you can select the domains in the list and click &#8220;Run AutoSSL&#8221; to force AutoSSL installation for them.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_8-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_8-1-1024x470.png\" alt=\"SSL Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957545\" width=\"768\" height=\"353\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Another option to enable a certificate is to install it manually via the &#8220;SSL\/TLS&#8221; section:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to the &#8220;<strong>SSL\/TLS<\/strong>&#8221; section in the cPanel account and choose &#8220;<strong>Certificates (CRT)<\/strong>&#8220;. Choose the required certificate and click &#8220;<strong>Install<\/strong>&#8220;. Scroll down and click &#8220;<strong>Install certificate<\/strong>&#8221; to proceed with its installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_12-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_12-1-1024x497.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957551\" width=\"768\" height=\"373\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To check the installed SSL certificates in cPanel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to the &#8220;SSL\/TLS&#8221; section in cPanel;<\/li><li>Click &#8220;Install and Manage SSL for your site (HTTPS)&#8221;;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_13-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_13-1-1024x526.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL Certificates in cPanel\" class=\"wp-image-999957552\" width=\"768\" height=\"395\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Wait a few seconds to see the list of the domains and subdomains added to cPanel;<\/li><li>If a green lock symbol appears next to the domain or subdomain, this means the SSL certificate has been installed correctly. You can check more information regarding the SSL by clicking on &#8220;<strong>Certificate Details<\/strong>&#8220;. The certificate issuer, domains and subdomains included in this certificate will be listed there.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_14-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/f60host.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/autossl_14-1-1024x534.png\" alt=\"AutoSSL Certificates\" class=\"wp-image-999957556\" width=\"768\" height=\"401\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the &#8220;<strong>Uninstall<\/strong>&#8221; option to remove the certificate.
